The conference theme, “United We Soar: the future of Indigenous tourism,” represents the collective power of Indigenous tourism communities coming together to build a thriving future.

The 2025 International Indigenous Tourism Conference Logo

The conference logo is a symbol of soaring, freedom and travel, the abstract flying goose logo represents togetherness among Indigenous Nations across the territory now known as Quebec and Canada. Flying over communities and urban centres, the geese symbolize unity and solidarity, wherever one may be. The abstract design allows for a multitude of interpretations, enabling individuals to relate the symbol to their own cultural values and stories. The logo serves as a common thread, recognizing the shared experiences and resilience of Indigenous peoples here and everywhere. This digital art was conceptualize and designed by Leilani Shaw, Kanien’kehá:ka and Paiute artist from Kahnawà:ke.

Agenda & Presentations

The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) carefully curated an enriching program that reflected the richness and uniqueness of Indigenous tourism experiences. The conference was a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration, empowering attendees to drive positive change and growth within the Indigenous tourism sector.
